Gulf Coast Training Solutions was set up specifically to cater to the North American Market. 
At Gulf Coast Training solutions, we are only specializing in ground training. We do not need to charge abhorrent fees or courses to support flight departments; there are no inexplicable “Course Fees” and we want to see you succeed without being taken for a ride with extra costs. Many courses are designed only to meet requirements of the approval by the authority. They are often conducted in an environment that bear little consideration to the customers wishes.
By using the most up to date material supplied by the market leader, OAA Media, we are able to offer a less laborious method to passing the 14 written subjects required for the JAA Airline Transport Pilots Licence. We can also guide you through the flight and simulator portions of converting your licence.
Whilst the airline industry worldwide is currently experiencing economic challenges, it is without question that the European carriers have had and will continue to have some of the most enviable working conditions in the industry. All forecasts point at a real and growing shortage of pilots in most regions of the world. Thus what ever the current situation, for the following decade the future looks bright for airline pilot recruitment.
Leading that recovery will be the European and Asian Sector where funding for new pilots has been dramatically cut and yet prices for courses have continued to rise. A message from the Head of Training: 
I have been working with the JAR system since 2002 and have formed a great relationship with the authorities in the United Kingdom, whilst training over 300 pilots for the JAA License, specifically the JAA ATPL.
With many years experience training and working with pilots from throughout the region and having worked for a regional carrier, I understand their training process as well as what is required to pass the JAA written examinations. Through my time at previous schools I have risen from student to instructor, and then to Chief Ground Instructor responsible for running the courses. In these positions with a team of hard working instructors we saw first time pass rates for students rise as high as 96%. We achieved this by listening to the students, and responding to make it a comfortable environment for each student.
This has taught me that each case is different and each student has their own goals to achieve with unique circumstances that need to be worked around. We want to work with you to get you through this tough process, and if we can, we will make it as easy for you as possible.
